Malfatto WIP

A little work in progress shot of my Malfatto Il Dottore (The Doctor) cosplay that will debut this weekend at Anime Banzai! Still finishing up bits and pieces (and half the cosplay). Everything you see here was made by me, save for the mask which was made by FeralWorks.

Drafting patterns is hard, pleather is a pain in the neck to sew (bent two needles!), and molding, painting, and weathering 45 buttons out of super hard clay leaves one with very sore fingers. But dat syringe tho! The liquid inside is similar to my Malfatto's Poison bottle (below) that I made a while ago, but now new and improved with better radioactive glow-in-the-light effect! Dang, I'm so proud of this costume so far. Especially since I've had little to no help with anything, it really makes me feel good that I've done so well all on my own! I simply can't wait until it's all done--but for now, I must sleep. I'm running on 3 hours of rest in the past 36 hours or so, so I'm off to bed.
